Social Profile:

Research Interests

Dr. Dana is interested in investigating and understanding the biology of stem cells, in particular epithelial and mesenchymal stem cells. With the aim of identifying the best stem cells source that could be potentially used in a clinical setting and tissue engineering applications. One of Dr. Dana focuses is to isolate and study rare stem cells populations, expressing specific cell surface markers, which potentially possess higher multipotency potential. In addition, Dr. Dana focuses in the application of stem cells in 3D bioprinting.
