Research Interests

Dr. Sundaramurthi is currently involved in 3D bioprinting using peptide bioinks. This project involves the optimization of peptide concentration and other printing parameters for 3D bioprinting. While there are many bioinks available for 3D bioprinting, the peptide bioinks are novel and exhibit interesting properties that could be useful for 3D bioprinting. In addition, he is also interested in the development of organotypic culture (eg. skin) using peptide hydrogels for drug screening and tissue engineering applications.
