Research Interests

Gustavo is a biologist interested in host-pathogen interaction of parasites such as Plasmodium and Leishmania. The interdisciplinary approach of the nanomedicine lab is a great opportunity to assess infection molecular mechanisms, develop diagnostic tools, new treatments, and design better control strategies.
