Research Interests

Sherin is interested in understanding molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying several life threatening human diseases. Also, studying transcriptional modifications and its possible effects on bio-functionality of cells under various conditions. She is also interested to combine next generation sequencing technologies with other molecular genetics techniques together with gene editing to try to restore the biological functions of affected genes.
