Research Interests

​Dr. Shivaprasad’s research interests lies at the interface of chemistry, materials and biology. His research focuses on understanding the principles of biomolecular hierarchical assembly and applying them in a biomimetic reductionist approach for the development of affordable short-peptide- and protein-based smart (bio)materials for tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, diagnostic and healthcare applications.
